Twisted Clay is a pottery studio in Grapevine, TX, offering a place for an artistic community to grow with the common goal of learning to control clay. Students and members can find a rewarding outlet for their creative side and a community of friends to join in the pursuit of mastering the potter’s wheel.
The studio is owned by an instructor who began her journey in ceramics in 2006. After living and traveling internationally, which sparked her interest in the art form, she began her studies at the Art House in McKinney, TX. She continued to develop her skills at Cone 10 Studios in Charleston, SC, where she learned to work with porcelain and high-temperature gas reduction firing.
After returning to the DFW area, she began teaching from her home studio in 2016. Discovering a great demand for pottery classes and a passion for teaching, she established the studio to share her love of pottery with both new and experienced potters.
