The founder and instructor, Matthew J. Baek, is an acclaimed artist and author with nearly three decades of teaching experience. A graduate of Parsons School of Design and the Maryland Institute, College of Art, Baek has had his work featured in prestigious publications like The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal. As an educator, he has a proven track record of helping students gain acceptance into major art colleges. Baek’s teaching philosophy centers on nurturing each student’s individual artistic voice, encouraging them to infuse their emotions and unique perspectives into their work.
