The Art Experience

The Art Experience, founded by Lori Ruml, is an art studio located in Plano, TX, which opened in the summer of 2025. It offers a creative and inclusive space designed for artists of all ages to learn, gather, and create. The studio’s mission is to inspire, enhance, and expand the world through art, providing programs, workshops, classes, and events tailored to various needs, including corporate experiences and custom artwork.

Lori Ruml, a K-12 certified teacher with 25+ years of experience, holds a degree in Art Education from the University of North Texas and a Master’s in Art Education with a concentration in watercolor from Europe, where she studied with artist Rob Erdle. Her diverse background includes teaching middle school art, private lessons, home school seminars, community art classes, and currently, at Collin College and Plano school district after-school programs. She has also trained in Renaissance oil techniques with Frank Covino.

The studio caters to a wide range of artistic interests and skill levels, offering classes for adults, teens, and children, including pre-school, home school, and after-school programs. Mediums explored include acrylic, oil, watercolor, sculpture, and pottery, ensuring a dynamic learning environment where participants can explore different art forms and techniques. The Art Experience emphasizes building confidence and helping individuals realize their artistic potential.
