More Information

The Frisco School of Music and Performing Arts is the largest institution of its kind in the city, having instructed over 12,000 students since its establishment in 2000. The school offers a comprehensive range of classes in one location, including music, art, dance, and musical theatre, making it a convenient option for busy families. With a faculty of over 45 university-trained and experienced teachers, the school is equipped to meet diverse student needs and personal goals. Lessons incorporate foundational elements like music theory, art history, and stage terminology alongside the practical skills students wish to learn.

The school’s campus spans over 15,000 square feet and includes 33 teaching studios and a state-of-the-art performance hall known as FriscoPAC. This facility supports the school’s commitment to providing numerous performance opportunities, with over 24 events held annually, such as judged art shows and musical theatre productions. A comfortable waiting area with Wi-Fi is available for parents, and every studio has an observation window. The school is owned and directed by Chris Duncan, who has over 35 years of teaching experience and holds a B.A. in Piano Pedagogy and Music Theory.
